EUGENE GRASSELLI - Word was received here this morning that Eugene Grasselli, a former resident of this city, had died yesterday at his home at Balboa Island, California.

Mr Grasselli was born in Cleveland, Ohio, on Dec 11, 1901, the son of Mr and Mrs Eugene R Grasselli. He was educated at the Hackley School, in New York State, Stevens Institute and Harvard University.

He was first employed by the Grasselli Chemical Company, which he joined in 1922. In 1930 he transferred to the rayon department of the DuPont Company and was employed successively at Buffalo NY, Richmond VA and Wilmington. He lived here from 1942 to 1945 when he retired from the DuPont Company. Since then he has made his home at Balboa Island.

Mr Graselli is survived by his widow, Mrs Louise Grasselli; one stepson and four grandchildren. He is a first cousin of Caesar A Grasselli and Thomas F Grasselli of this city.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at Balboa Island.
