Magna, Hunter, Hurricane--Our kind and loving father, grandfather, and brother passed away peacefully at his daughter's home in Hurricane, Utah on May 29, 2017.
Dad was born November 24, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Glen Beck and Mabel Sjoblom Martin.
He was raised in Magna, Utah and graduated from Cyprus High School.
He married his high school sweetheart Janice Irene Ridd on February 1, 1947 in Hunter, Utah.
Spent 64 years together until Mom passed away November 25, 2011.
Dad started working at the age of 12, he worked as a meat cutter for 53 years until he retired at 65.
He loved the outdoors: hunting, fishing, winter sports, gardening; anything where he could spend quality time with family, friends and sunshine.
He is survived by his three daughters, Sandra Kinsey, Robyn (Larry) Headrick, Cindy (Lawry) Bowden; 9 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; brother, Shirrel (Barbara) Martin; sister, Barbara (Wayne) Fullmer; and sister-in-law, June Martin.
He is preceded in death by wife, Janice; daughter, Julie Martin; grandson, Brett Lain Bytendorp; great grandson, Zakke Donnely Latham; parents; brother, Hollis Martin; sister and brother-in-law, Gerry and F. Dee Peel.
