Henry Henderson Sr. of Little Rock, Ark., peacefully passed May 6, 2016, at St. Vincent Hospital. Born Nov. 29, 1943, to the late Willie and Ernestine Henderson. Henry retired after 37 1/2 years at Dassault Falcon Jet.
He leaves to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Bessie Henderson; children, Brenda (Terry), Henry Jr. (Sue), Gregory, Sharon (James), Deon (Shayta), Tyrone (LaSommer) and Rodney all of Little Rock; Derrick of Pine Bluff; one brother-in-law, Sam Jefferson of Little Rock; Aunt, Veolia Jackson of St. Louis, Mo.; one brother, Author Lee (Maxine); four sisters, Gracie, Gloria and Lousie of Pine Bluff, Ark., and Odester Reed of Illinois; 24 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life service will be Saturday, May 14, 2016, 11 a.m., at Holy Cross Baptist Church, 4800 W. 12th Street, Little Rock, Ark. Family visitation: Friday, May 13, 2016, 6-7 p.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester St., Little Rock, Ark.
