Carol Joanne (Thompson) Izor, daughter of John and Virginia Thompson, was born on December 26th, 1950 in Dayton Ohio and left us suddenly on May 27th, 2017. Carol graduated from Miamisburg High School in 1969 and married Michael A. Izor of Germantown, Ohio on July 1st, 1970. Carol and Mike had 2 sons, Andrew and Seth Izor, both graduating from Valley View High School in Germantown where the family resided until the boys were adults.

Carol enjoyed music, books, poetry and the arts. She was a talented artist in her own right. Carol was an avid Reds fan throughout her life and followed the Walking Dead series passionately.

Carol worked at Love-Is-A-Hug Daycare Center for many years positively impacting the young lives she was in contact with. Carol then worked for 12 years as an Administrative Assistant for the City of Moraine in which she retired 6 short months ago.

Carol is preceded in death by her parents as well as her husband Michael Izor. She is survived by her son Andrew Izor, his wife Anna, his daughter Ana and son Liam. Her son Seth Izor, his wife Angie, his daughter Bailey and son Aiden. Her sisters Susan Fiddler and Betty Johnson. Her brothers Kenneth Thompson, Tom Thompson, Steven Thompson, and Scott Thompson and their families. Carol has numerous loved ones and friends who were as important to her as family as they have shared special moments with her over the course of her life.

All who knew Carol well loved her dearly and her companionship will be sorely missed.
