Thelma Louise Holloway, age 85 of Rowlett, TX, passed away April 1, 2017. She was born January 2, 1932, in Kilgore, TX, to James Lester and Ethel (Biggs) Spruill. Thelma was married February 3, 1951, in Clovis, NM, to Troy Holloway and they shared 61 years together until his death in April of 2012. They owned and operated Troy Holloway Concrete Co. in Garland, and Thelma was bookkeeper. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Sachse and is remembered as a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Thelma is survived by children: Troy Holloway Jr. and wife Susan of Rowlett, TX, Clyde Holloway and wife Diane of Rowlett, TX, Ricky Holloway and wife Janette of Caddo Mills, TX, Linda Bass and husband Darrell of Garland, TX, Sherry Fletcher and husband Owen of Sachse, TX, and Kathy Foster and husband Billy of Wylie, TX; 17 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren; sister-in-law: Adel Evans and husband Walter of Amarillo, TX; brothers-in-law: Charles Baucom of Houston, TX, and Leon Holloway and wife Pat of Amarillo, TX; she was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
