Mrs. W.S. Ammons, 76, of Aurelia, died at Cherokee Tuesday morning, January 16, after a lingering illness.
She is survived by her husband, W.S. Ammons; eight children: Mrs. Jess Merchant of Storm Lake, Mrs. Irving Brewster of Aurelia, Mrs William H__ley of Sioux Rapids, Mrs. Edward Dooley of Aurelia, [illegible] Cherokee.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 pm at the home Thursday, and at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church in Aurelia. Interment will be in the Alta cemetery.
