The following obituary was published in the August 14, 1974, issue of the (Eldridge, Iowa) North Scott Press, for Selma Boll, co-proprietor of Boll's General Store, Princeton, Iowa, with her husband and son:

Funeral services for Mrs. Henry W. Boll, 73, were held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, August 9 in the McGinnis Chapel, Bettendorf, with the Rev. LarrLindmark, pastor of Zion Lutheran Church, Princeton, officiating. Mrs. Gladys Blackman Nelson was at the organ.
Burial was in Davenport Memorial Park. Pallbearers were John Milkinsen, Lloyd Sierk, Raymond Helble, Leonard Graham, Harold Woomert and Myron Suiter.
Mrs. Boll died in her home Tuesday night after an illness of about two months.

Selma L. Stadtmueller was born in Monticello, Iowa on February 25, 1901. She married Mr. Boll in Monticello on January 15, 1925.

Mrs. Boll was associated with Boll's Store in Princeton for many years. Prior to her marriage she taught school in Princeton. She was an active member and regular attendant of Zion Lutheran Church until being hospitalized about two months ago.

Surviving are her husband; a daughter, Mrs. Donald (Leone) Kosman, Ottumwa; a son, Merlin, Princeton; two grandsons; and three sisters, Mrs. Ada Mann, Miss Emma and Miss Mary Stadtmueller, all of Washington, D.C.
