Teresa M. Gates (nee Todaro), age 73, of Mentor, passed away peacefully at home
surrounded by her family on May 28, 2017.
She was born in Cleveland on August 2, 1943 to the late Frank and Josephine Todaro.
Teresa was the beloved wife of Donald J. Gates for 54 years, the loving mother to Greg Gates, Jeffrey (Lisa) Gates, and Gina (Angelo) Pampanini, a proud grandmother to Megan, Kyle, Vincenzo, Jenna, Ryan, Nicoletta, and Brionna, a loving sister to Ronald (Jill) Todaro, and a daughter-in-law to Frank Shuster, and a sister-in-law to Nancy Gissinger.
She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law Gizella Shuster, and her sister-in-law Barbara Greska.
Family will receive friends and visitors on Sunday June 4th, 2017 from 4 to 8 p.m.
at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 5th, 2017 at 10 a.m. at Monreal Funeral Home. Interment will occur at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.

Mrs. Todaro died April 5, 2009, at home, surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Todaro loved her family and especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
