She was the former Alice Elder, a native of Centertown, KY and a retired certified nursing assistant for the State of Kentucky. She was a life member of the Veteran of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary and the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
Alice is survived by her loving husband of 45 years and her three daughters. She was the grandmother of seven and great-grandmother of 12.
Funeral service: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Arch L. Heady at Resthaven Chapel, 4400 Bardstown Rd. with burial to follow in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation at the funeral home is Tuesday from 2-8 p.m. and after 10 a.m. Wednesday. Expressions of sympathy may go to Hospice and Palliative care of Louisville.
