Charles Eugene 'Mickey' Jordan was born on March 12, 1955, in McLeansville, NC, to Clarence Leo "CL" and Virginia Carolyn McMillian Jordan. He had two siblings. His sister, Virginia Darlene was born on October 28, 1956 and his brother, Edward Keith was born on August 9, 1958. He lived with his parents and siblings and attended the local schools. His mother, Virginia Carolyn passed away on March 14, 1975. He moved to Lexington, KY, where he met Lois Mae Land. Charles and Lois married May 24, 1984 in Jacksboro, Campbell Co, TN, when he was 29 years old. He died on June 12, 1984, at the University of Kentucky, Albert B. Chandler Medical Center, of a gunshot wounds. They lived at 675 North Limestone Street, at the time of death. The Fayette County Coroner's office ruled the death a homicide. He was only married 19 days.

Charles Jordan, 29, of 675 North Limestone Street, husband of Lois Jordan, died Tuesday at the University of Kentucky Albert B. Chandler Medical Center, apparently of gunshot wounds. The Fayette County Coroner's office ruled the death a homicide. Services will be at 3 pm Monday at Lexington Cemetery. There will be no visitation. Whitehall Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
