Bethel E. (Clement) Coon age 90 of McLouth, KS passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at her home in McLouth, KS. She was born March 6, 1927 in Kansas City, Kansas to the daughter of Walter Daniel and Ruby Grace (Beagel) Clement.
On January 3, 1964 Bethel was united in marriage to Norris Alex Coon. They shared over twenty years of marriage before Norris passed away on September 15, 1985. To this union they shared three children; Lloyd, Norris and Tammy.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Norris Alex Coon; parents; one son, Norris Henley Coon; two brothers, Lloyd and Roy Clement and one sister, Alferna Day.
Bethel is survived by one son Lloyd W. Coon of Kansas City, KS; one daughter Tammy N. McGuire (David) of McLouth, KS; two brothers, Robert Clement of Springhill, KS and John Clement of Kansas City, KS; four grandchildren, Randall McGuire (Jessica) of McLouth, KS, David Timothy McGuire Jr. (Tabitha) of Kansas City, KS, Sarah Tremble (Mike) of Topeka, KS and Lucas Coon (Patience) of Olathe, KS; and five great grandchildren, Alex, Chloe, Sadie, Savannah and Cheyanne.
Funeral Services will be 2 P.M. Monday, June 5, 2017 at Maple Hill Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kansas with burial to follow at Maple Hill Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas. A visitation will from 1-2 P.M. Monday, June 5, 2017 at Maple Hill Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kansas.
