Zachary Ian Campbell, 20, of Topeka, passed away May 25, 2017 at Cornerstone Hospital of Shawnee in Shawnee, OK.

He was born March 31, 1997 in Danville, IL, the son of Patrick and Norlinda (Nucup) Campbell of Shawnee, OK. Zachary graduated from Topeka West High School and held the rank of Lance Corporal in the United States Marine Corps, training to be an AAV crew member. He was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church in Topeka, and was captain of his wrestling team at Topeka West.

He is survived by his parents; sisters Bryttney Thompson (Jordan) of Topeka, KS, and Aurora Anna Campbell of Shawnee, OK; brother Patrick Campbell, Jr. of Topeka KS; nephew Holden Thompson; and niece/goddaughter, Coralyne Thompson of Topeka, KS; grandparents, Villamor and Aurora Nucup of San Diego, CA and James and Anna Campbell of Winter Haven, FL; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by uncles Nestor Nucup and Nolan Nucup.
