Previously married to the late Lawton Henry Parrish Jr. and lived in Albany, GA most of her life before moving to Tennessee in 1996 after retiring from Pheobe Putney to live with her daughter, Susan Reasons.
She was a volunteer at Phoebe Putney hospital in Albany and at the Springfield, TN hospital before moving to Jackson, TN. She loved being with the grandchildren, great grandchildren and the great great grandchildren and was considered by some of them to be their guardian angel.
Ms Parrish is survived by her children; Ronald Lawton Parrish of Albany GA, Susan Parrish Reasons (Larry) of Jackson, Sandra Parrish Brewer (Don) of Oxford, MS, 10 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
Graveside services will be 1:30 pm Saturday, February 2, 2013 from Lebanon Methodist Church Cemetery in Cedar Grove, TN, with Bro. Kenneth Grizzell officiating.
