Trimble was a veteran of the United States Army, serving as a medic during the Korean Conflict.
He was a district manager, working in the oil and gas industries.
He was an avid golfer and enjoyed serving as a volunteer for Skaggs Community Hospital in Branson, MO.
Survivors include: his wife, Anna of the home in Kimberling City, MO; one daughter, Jeanne Hammeke and husband David of Katy, TX; two sons, Steve Trimble and wife Deb of Magnolia, TX and Mark Trimble and wife, Evelyn of Richmond, TX; six grandchildren, Rhonda Anthony and husband, Travis of St. Joseph, MO; Andrea Martinez and husband, Joey of Anna, TX; Matthew Hammeke of Katy, TX; Chad Zerr of Houston, TX; Tyler Trimble of Houston, TX; and Ian Trimble of Richmond, TX; four great-grandchildren, Allison Martinez, Hannah Anthony, Ella Anthony and Jon Trimble; and one brother, Paul Trimble of Aurora, CO; one sister, Mary Wycoff of Merriam, KS; several nieces; newphews; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson, Jon Trimble.
The funeral services were Feb. 12 at the Carter Funeral Home Chapel in Thayer with Bro. Bill Bales officiating. Burial followed in the Thayer Cemetery.
