Merrell, Mary Louise, 94 of St. Petersburg passed away Wednesday, May 24, 2017. Mary Louise was the granddaughter of St. Petersburg pioneers Herman and May Merrell, whose family helped start many civic associations and held many offices to get the city started. Mary loved St. Pete and was a 40+ year resident. She is preceded in death by her parents and her brothers. She is survived by her three cousins, Sandra Carter, Ruth Ann Earl and John Merrell. Mary was a Navy veteran and was proud of her service; she will be missed greatly. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at 1pm at Royal Palm Cemetery- South. AndersonMcQueen FH
