Kirk Robert Miller, age 53 was born at London England on February 3, 1964 to Tech. Sargent Reuben Franklin Miller and England’s own Sheila Elizabeth Warr.
Kirk’s Father preceded him in death. He is survived by his Mother Sheila Miller Hutchins and Step Father Jerry Hutchins, his Sister Sharon Miller Tryon, his Nephew Christopher Tryon, Brother In Law Wesley Tryon, his Step Sister Susan Huber and Brother In Law Rodney Huber. Also, his Step Brothers Billy, Tommy and Harry Hutchins. Included too, is his dear Aunt and Uncle in England, Valerie and Malcom Warr along with an extended family of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Kirk graduated High School in Iowa Park, Texas where he grew up. He was well known as a gifted swimmer who could perform amazing dives from the high dive board. He also won many awards in various sports as a gifted athlete. Anyone who knew Kirk, knew he was a kind hearted person. Although he was a man of very little means, he was that proverbial person who would give you the shirt right off his back if he thought you needed it. Even after becoming disabled as an adult himself, he never put materialism first in his life. Kirk lived a simple life, never asking for anything from others. The words “I want, I want” were never in his vocabulary. He did not want to be a bother to anyone. Kirk’s disability forced him to live a hard life. Now peace has finally come upon him and he can rest at last. Growing up Kirk was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Iowa Park.
Graveside services will be at Highland Cemetery 862 Rogers Rd Iowa Park at 10:00 a.m. Saturday June 3, 2017.
