Sherry Jean Johnson Freeman

Sherry Jean Johnson Freeman, 40, of Hendersonville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2007.

She was born in Henderson County to James Franklin and Annette Williams Johnson.

A graduate of Mars Hill College, she had been employed with Wachovia for 19 years, most recently as a Mortgage Consultant. She and her family attended Mud Creek Baptist Church.

Her father, James Johnson and niece, Heather Johnson, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband, Alex T. Freeman; son, Zachary; daughter, Jami; mother, Annette Johnson; brother, Jimmy Johnson and wife, Karen; sister, Tammy Crawford and husband Anthony; nieces Crystal Johnson and Kristina Crawford; nephew, Tyler Crawford and numerous aunts and uncles.

A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM on Sunday, February 18 at Mud Creek Baptist Church with Dr. Greg Mathis officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 17 from 7:00-8:30PM at Thos. Shepherd & Son Funeral Directors.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital, Attn: Memorial Department, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
