Note: No burial record has been found for Philip, but he lived and died in the part of Stoughton that would later become Canton, and he is almost certainly buried in either this cemetery or Canton's Oldest Cemetery. A memorial gravestone to include Philip and his wife is being planned.

Philip was the son of Philip Liscom and Charity Jordan of Dorchester and Stoughton, Mass. He was married in Scituate, Mass. 8 Dec 1724 to Desire SILVESTER, the daughter of Richard Sylvester and Desire Stetson of Scituate. Desire's obituary appearing on 27 May 1790 says she "fell dead after breakfast." Philip served in the Crown Point Expedition during the French and Indian War.
