Cheryl L. Rogers, age 64, of Windsor, CO, previously of Miles City, MT, went to be with the Lord on May 25, 2017. She passed away peacefully at Pathways Hospice Center, surrounded by her family, after a short but well fought battle against cancer.

Cheryl was born on Nov. 17, 1952 in Miles City, MT to Carl and Evelyn (Edmondson) Zabrocki. She attended grade school there and graduated from Custer County High School in 1971. Following graduation, she married Patrick Rogers on Oct 9, 1971 and together they were blessed with two sons-Todd and Toby. While raising her family, Cheryl also worked at the VA Medical Center in Miles City. She retired in 2012 after 28 years of dedicated service.

Family and friends were Cheryl's delight. She loved hosting and entertaining, as well as making quilts for loved ones. She loved to have family gather at her house for the holidays and is famous for baking Red Velvet birthday cakes. In 2013, she and Pat moved to Windsor, CO to be close to Todd, Shannon, Jackson, Charlie, Toby, Michelle, and Ransom. Cheryl cherished every moment she spent with them. She felt very blessed to be a part of her grandchildren's lives and loved picking up Jackson and Charlie after school. Watching them play sports, going camping and teaching them to cook were treasured events. She loved spending time with her youngest grandson, Ransom, and was thrilled to witness many of his first milestones. She even taught him one of his first words-"more." Cheryl grew up playing the piano and continued her love for playing until she passed her piano onto her grandkids. Other favorite pastimes were attending car shows with Pat and going to sporting events, especially if the Green Bay Packers or Colorado Rockies were playing.

Cheryl's love for the Lord was demonstrated daily as she cared for her family and friends. She was a member of Grace Bible Church in Miles City, MT for many years and recently attended Timberline Church, Windsor CO.

Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents; father in-law Neil Rogers; sister in-law Marilyn Zabrocki; sister in-law Vicki Gray, brother in-law William Rogers and brother in-law Sam Pettigrew
