Christina Lou Elizabeth Foster, of Fulton, passed away unexpectedly on December 30, 2016. She was 38 years old.

Christina was born August 6, 1978, in Kansas City, Missouri to Lee Jay and Carla Denise (nee Cook) Marcum.

She married Jesse Foster in Fulton on October 16, 2004, and he survives at their home.

Christina had been employed with Scholastic in Jefferson City, was a homemaker, and had attended cosmetology school. She loved her family and enjoyed reading.

Survivors include her mother, Carla Denise Cook Marcum of Mexico; two sons, Chance Taylor Marcum and Ethan Kenneth Foster both of Fulton; a brother, Lee Jay Marcum, II of Kansas City; a sister, Jarnae Turner of Overland Park, Kansas; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Steven Frederick and Cheryl Jean Foster of Fulton and her grandmother, Peggy Lou Cook of Boonville.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lee Jay Marcum; a brother, Travis Marcum, and grandfather, Carl Wayne Cook.

Services will be held at 4 p.m., Thursday, January 5, 2017, at Markland-Yager Funeral Home in New Franklin. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. prior to the service.
