Sarah was educated in the Arkansas Public School System. She moved to Kansas City, Missouri in 1948. She was employed in House Keeping for the City Government for many years, and later became employed with Plaza Ford Ideal Laundry and Dry until her health began to fail. She would put her needs above her own, and she would help anyone.
On May 27, 2017, Sarah departed this life. She is preceded in death by six sisters, and one daughter; Mary Edges.
Sarah leaves to cherish her memories one son; Ronnie Ross, two brothers; Otto Ross(Flora), and Equilla Ross(Dale) of Kansas City, Missouri, one Godson; Buddy Riddle, Jr., special nieces, and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends not mentioned nor forgotten.
