Billy Ray Carney, 54, of Mount Washington, died Monday at the home of his brother. He was a native of Nelson County, a truck driver for Allied Trucking Co., an Air Force veteran and a member of Kings Baptist Church in Spencer County.
Survivors: a daughter, Kathy Spaulding; sons Donald, Todd and Jeremy Carney; his mother, Irma Carney; his stepmother, Evelyn Carney; sisters Aline Demattos, Mary Snider and Emma Jean Hood; a brother, Ted Carney; and four grandchildren.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Thursday, McFarland-Troutman, Mount Washington. Burial: Highview Cemetery, Chaplin. Visitation: 2-9 p.m. Wednesday. Memorial girts: Promise Keepers at Springfield Baptist Church.
