Mrs. Rachel Henderson Dies Monday
Night At Age of 77
Mrs. Rachel Henderson, 77, a resident of Wichita since 1914, died Monday night at her home, 1702 Ida Avenue. She was the wife of Samuel J. Henderson, and came here from Ellsworth, Kan. She was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving Mrs. Henderson are six daughters and two sons. The daughters are Mrs. Maud Wilson, Mrs. Anna Knight, Mrs. Hattie Brady and Mrs. Frances Ruenholl of Wichita; Mrs. Maggie Allen of Ellsworth and Mrs. Lena McCormick, Ashton, Idaho.
The sons are Walter H. Henderson of Wichita and Henry G. Henderson of Carneiro.
Surviving sisters of Mrs. Henderson are Mrs. Kate Reed and Mrs. Lena Johnson of Kanopolis and Mrs. Ella Wells of Wichita. Three brothers also survive her. They are William and Sam Livingston of Kanopolis and Dow Livingston of Shreeve, O.
Funeral arrangements are in charge of Downing mortuary.
