OBITUARY FOR WILLIAM MOLT:

USEFUL LIFE IS CLOSED BY DEATH
Wiliam Molt, son of Charles and Kisziah Molt, was born near Flora, Ill., February 19. 1859, and passed away to the home of his daughter, Alice Courtright of near Geff, April 19, 1937, age 78 years and 2 months.
On November 19, 1879 he was united in marriage to Louisa A. Brown. To this union were born eight children namely: Everett L. Molt of Geff, Mrs. Alice K. Courtright of Geff, Mrs. Bessie B. Humbarger, Detroit, Mich, Charles and Ira, deceased, Mrs. Naomi R. Stinson of Rockford Ill., Mrs. Annetta Oster of Milwaukee, Wis., and Mrs. Cordelia Dyer of Jacksonville, Fla.
His wife passed away on October 23, 1897. He was again united in marriage on March 10, 1898 to Sarah J. Nicholas. To this union two children were born; Ray Molt of Indianapolis, Ind., and Mrs. Frona Grubbs of Indianapolis, Ind.
His wife passed away March 27, 1936. Since that time he has made his home with his daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. E. Courtright.
He is also survived by three brothers and four sisters: John of Catlin, (Ill??), Jerome of Geff, Ill., Frank of Cisne, Ill., Mrs. Frona Baum, Danviille, Ill., Mrs. Allie Miller, Sidell, Ill., Mrs. Lizzie Johnson, Geff, Ill., also 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren, besides other relatives and a host of friends.
He was well known over Wayne county and made friends wherever he went.
He was converted in early life at Oak Valley General Baptist Church and spent the best years of his life preaching the gospel.
Funeral services were conducted from the Geff M.E. church, April 20th, by his pastor, Rev. Bryan of Indianapolis, assisted by Rev. Geo. Hall of Geff. Burial was near Farina, Ill.
Those from a distance that attended the funeral were Mrs. Allie Miller and Mrs. Lutie Donivan of Sidell, Ill., John Molt and daughter, Evelyn and two grandchildren, Loren Molt and wife, all of Catlin, Ill., and Mrs. Helen Campbell and Mrs. Gladys Davis of Indianapolis.
Three daughters, Naomi Stinson of Rockford, Nettie Oster of Milwaukee and Bessie Humbarger of Detroit were at his bedside during the last week of his illness.
