Rites Planned for Mrs. White
Final rites for Lenora Casad White, 61 year resident of Bakersfield and widow of Richard J. White, founder of the Bakersfield Hardware Company, are planned for 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Doughty-Calhoun-O'Mears Chapel.
Services will be conducted by the Reverend Lynn Wood and burial will follow in Union Cemetery. Mrs. White, 87, died Sunday in a local hospital.
At the time of her death, she made her home at 1915 Alta Vista Drive with her daughter, Mrs. Fisk Harlow. She was born in Illinois and moved here with her husband in 1889.
Survivors include a son, R.E. White, local civil engineer; daughters, Mrs.Fisk Harlow and Mrs. George Crome of Bakersfield; brother, Humboldt Casad of Texas; sisters Mrs. J.F. Bennett, Mrs. Clarence Rhodes and Mrs. Maude Mandell of Texas and Mrs. N.D. Lane of Arizona and 18 great-grandchildren.
