27 FEB 2021, transfer. Added gender. ∼Frances Donna Bales was born on November 4, 1954 to Luther and Frances Touchton at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Ga. On March 4, 2017, at the age of sixty-two, she passed from this life peacefully at home in Collinsville, Ok, and went with a smile to be with her Lord and Savior.

Donna was born into a military family living the first part of her life in Crestview, FL and then moved overseas to the Philippine Islands. She also spent some time in New Mexico before her family settled in Alexandria, La where she would graduate from high school in 1972.

She would become a chairside dental assistant in Alexandria and continue that work until she had her three beautiful daughters: Danielle, Jessica, and Anna. In the mid 90's, she moved to Oklahoma and continued to raise her daughters and work as a chairside dental assistant.

On April 28, 2001, she married the love of her life, Leon, and became a mother to his two children, Christina and Michael. They would start out as a blended family but would grow to be a strong and unified family with the heart and soul being that of Donna. They took up permanent residence in Collinsville where she continued her work in the dental field and was a Dental Assisting Instructor and Coordinator at a local dental school.

She was an inspiration to her family in the way that she lived her life and loved her family. She was an extremely hard worker and until the very end fought any obstacle that life threw at her. She will always be remembered as "Maw Maw" and will always be carried in the hearts of her children and grandchildren. She loved dancing in the living room with Leon as he was the light of her world and loved him deeply. She brought him happiness which could be seen by all that surrounded them.

Donna was preceded in death by her father, James Luther Touchton, of Alexandria, La, and her father and mother-in-law, Lee and Phyllis Bales of Jennings, Ok.

She is survived by her husband Leon Bales of Collinsville, Ok; mother Frances Touchton of Alexandria, La. Two brothers Jerry Touchton of Alexandria, La and Eddie Touchton of Acworth, Ga; four daughters Danielle Moss and husband Troy of Beggs, Ok, Jessica Lofgren and husband David of Claremore Ok, Anna Reed and husband Jake of Owasso, Ok, Christina Bales of Collinsville, Ok, and son Michael Bales and wife Lysa of Yukon, Ok.
