MARY GRACE HOWEY SMITH of Eustis, FL - she was the daughter of John and Mary Grace Hastings Howey. John was the founder of Howey-in-the-Hills, FL. Mary was raised in Howey-in-the-Hills and became a lifelong resident of Eustis, FL. She was a member of the Eustis Ixora Garden Club and the Eustis Women's Club. Preceded in death by her husband, George E Smith, Jr, surviving are daughters, Carol Baxley of Leesburg, FL, Westa Bryant of Tallahassee, FL and Sarah Adams of Dickson, TN; ten grandchildren & extended families and 14 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held February 19, 2007 at the Allen J Harden Funeral Home in Mount Dora, FL with Dr Alan Holden officiating.
