Son of Capt. James Blakemore, in the service of the United States, commanded by Colonel Philip Pipkin, First Regiment of West Tennessee Militia from the 20th June 1814, when mustered into service, to the 27th January 1815. ?????

Village Messenger, Fayetteville, Tennessee, Vol. 3, No. 49, April 4, 1827:

Remaining at the Post Office in Fayetteville Tennessee, on the 31st of March 1827, which if not taken out before the 1st of July next, will be sent to the General Post Office as dead Letters.

By virtue of three orders of sale issued from the county court at April term of said court, 1827, and to me directed, two in favor of Wm. M. QUISHENBURY and one in favor of John MAZE, I shall sell for cash at the court house door in the town of Fayetteville, on the 7th day of July next, all the right, title, claim and interest that Andrew J. BLAKEMORE has in and to one hundred and fifteen and a half acres of land lying in Lincoln county and on the head waters of Cane creek . . . to a stake on the original south boundary line, it being part of a 2140 acre tract granted to the heirs of Andrew GREER, and has been levied on as the property of the said Andrew J. BLAKEMORE to satisfy two judgments for debt and costs that the said Wm. M. QUISHENBURY recovered against him at the January term of the county court, 1827, and one judgment that John MAZE recovered at the same court. Sale within lawful hours.

Sheriff's Sale.
I shall offer for sale for cash at the court house door in the town of Fayetteville, on Saturday the 13th? of Oct. next, all the right, title, claim, and interest that Andrew
J. BLAKEMORE, has in and to 450 acres of land lying on Cane creek, entered in the Entry-takers office for Lincoln county, No. 894? and entered in the name of John V. M'KINNEY, James BLAKEMORE and said Andrew J. BLAKEMORE; also all the interest said BLAKEMORE has in and to 250 acres entered in the said Entry-takers office, No. 927 in the name of James BLAKEMORE, & in the name of said A. J. BLAKEMORE, lying on the waters of Cane creek; also all the right and interest the said BLAKEMORE has to one other tract of 120 acres, on the waters of Cane creek . . . also the south half of lot known in the plan of the town of Fayetteville by lot No. 69. All of which is taken in execution as the property of said BLAKEMORE to satisfy two judgments and cost that William M. QUISENBURY recovered against him, at the January term of the County court, 1827. Sale within lawful hours.
