Mrs. Lois J. Menifee, 72, of South Toledo passed away on Friday, September 8, 2000, in her residence. Mrs. Menifee had been a typist and switchboard operator working for Travelers Insurance for 26 years and also for Prevention Plus. Lois was currently employed by Owens-Corning.
She is survived by her loving husband, of 49 years, Allen Menifee; daughter, Carol Menifee; grand-children, Thomas "Jimmy" and Tina Gauley, and life long friend, Ruth Ansberg. She was preceded in death by her mother, Anna Smith.
Friends may call on Wednesday, September 13, from 6-9 p.m. at the Walter Funeral Home, 4653 Glendale Ave., where services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
