Mr. Lawrence was born on February 8, 1963 in Florence, son of Sara Huggins Lawrence and the late Sheridan F. Lawrence. He was a graduate of Johnsonville High School and was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish. He also enjoyed following Nascar. Wayne retired from the South Carolina Army National Guard after 22 years, serving one tour in Iraq.
