John Michael Dodd, 40, of Danville, Va., passed away Friday, May 26, 2017, at his residence. He was born in Wurzburg, Germany on January 6, 1977, to Meva Walker Dodd and John Mastin Dodd. He was employed as the Chief Operating Officer of Serious Nutrition Solutions. He was also a Pilot, graduating from flight school in Deland, Fl. He was a die hard Disk Golf player playing locally in Danville, Va and various places in the USA. His first Ace was on Hole 7 in Danville. He was a member of Sharon Baptist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Dodd is survived by his son, John Michael Dodd, II, and his mother, Kirsten Dodd, both of Buena Vista, Va., a sister, Anderia Frakes and husband Joseph, and a brother, Christopher Dodd, all of Dry Fork, Va., and like a brother Timothy Pritchett of Pelham, NC. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Julie Cook, of Dry Fork.
Graveside services will be held at the Silas Dodd Family Cemetery, Hinesville, Va. at 2 pm, Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
