58, passed away January 27, 2012 survived by her mother, Doris Tofel; brother, Joseph Humeny Jr. of Colorado Springs; sister, Teresa Payne of Gilbert, AZ; her two daughters, Erica Crutchfield and Jere Crutchfield both of Tucson and close friend, Ron Sherburne. Karen was born in Savannah, Georgia and lived the majority of her life in Tucson. She worked as a goldsmith for over 20 years. Karen was a very gifted goldsmith, her passion was to design and repair jewelry for her customers. The greatest love of her life was her four grandchildren. She gave everything she had to her babies. A Celebration of her life will be held at Agua Caliente Park, 12325 East Roger Rd., Saturday, March 3, 2012 beginning at 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
