Katrina Williams, 56, of Big Spring, died Saturday, May 27, 2017 at her residence. Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Myers & Smith Chapel, with Chaplain Skip Hedgepeth of Home Hospice officiating. Burial will be at Coahoma Cemetery.

Katrina was born November, 3, 1960 to Pauline Fee Williams and Johnie Harold Williams in Big Spring, Texas.

She was a lifetime resident of Big Spring and was a member of the Church of Christ.

Katrina was employed with Best Home Care and Home Hospice until retiring in 2013 due to health complications. She had a great passion for the care of her patients.

She loved classic rock and blue grass music.

She enjoyed doing puzzles and reading, particularly the works of Stephen King.

Katrina was survived by her son Jonathan Simpson and his fiancé Kandi of Charlotte, North Carolina; her father: Johnie Williams and his wife Celia of Big Spring; two sisters: Michelle Coutermarsh and her husband Jim of Missouri and Jana Terry of Big Spring; two brothers: Kenneth Casbeer and his wife Nobie of Big Spring and Marty Terry and his wife Becky of Rockwall; four grandchildren: Scott Simpson, Michael Simpson, Jeffery Simpson, and Emilly Reep; two nieces and four nephews. She was very loved by Sheila Crockett and her son Kanon.

She was preceded in death by her mother Pauline Williams and one son Michael Scott Simpson.

Pallbearers will be Scott Simpson, Raymond Overton, Rick White, Michael Duffer, Kanon Crockett, Shane Gilmore and Jeff Nichols.

The family suggests cards in lieu of flowers.
