York, Charlotte M. (Lippy) Watson, 85, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2017, at York Hospital. She was the wife of Russell E. "Sonny" Watson, Jr., who died on April 25, 2016.
Mrs. Watson was born in York, September 24, 1931, daughter of the late Charles and Thelma (Geise) Lippy.
She was employed by the former Robbie's Drive-In, West York. She was a member of Druck Valley United Methodist Church, and a former member of St. Luke United Methodist Church.
Survivors include two children, Sharon L. Klunk and her husband, Thomas of York, and Russell E. "Russ" Watson III, and his wife, Jana of York; five grandchildren, Gretchen and her husband, Brian, Justina and her husband, Jason, Bradley and his wife, Doreen, Todd and his wife, Lisa, and Jaime and her husband, Alex; 17 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and three siblings, Robert Lippy of York, Clyde Lippy of York, and Carlyn Reachard of WY.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Jack Lippy.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m., Thursday, June 1, 2017 at the LeRoy R. Leber Funeral Home, Inc., 2290 School St., York (Shiloh). A viewing will be one hour prior to the service from 10 to 11a.m.
Burial will be private in Mt. Rose Cemetery, York.
