"Abercrombie, Tailor, Dies At Home Here
Milton S. Abercrombie, well known clothing merchant of Bristol, died at 11:30 Thursday night at his residence, 429 Taylor Street, after a brief illness.
A native of Tuskeegee, Ala., he came to Bristol as a young man to enter the clothing business. He operated his business at 16 Moore Street, the Quality Tailors, and at the time of his death had been in business here more than 50 years.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nell Bewley Abercrombie; a son, Milton B. Abercrombie; four grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. B. M. Nash, Savannah, Ga., and Mrs. M. Wright, Tuskeegee, Ala.
The body is at the Paul Cook Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. today in the funeral home chapel."
