Kathleen (Addison) Gordon, 95 of Lewisville, Indiana, went to be with the Lord at her home on May 28, 2017 with her family by her side.
She was born on July 6, 1921 in Center Township, daughter of the late Wayne and Ruby (Kirkham) Addison.
Kathleen was a 1939 graduate of Mays High School.
Kathleen married Marion Morris Gordon on July 15, 1942 and he preceded her in death on March 16, 2004.
She was a member of the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church of Lewisville for 70 years.
Kathleen spent her life as a homemaker raising her children whom she loved dearly as well as working as a cook at Rush Memorial Hospital and a bookkeeper for Gordon Trucking. She loved her family and church. Kathleen enjoyed gardening and cooking.
Kathleen is survived by her loving sons, Donald E. (wife, Kris) Gordon of Augusta, Georgia, and Richard K. (wife, Micki) Gordon of Rushville, Indiana; two daughters, Janet K. (husband, Jim) Farrow of Greenfield, Indiana and Barbara Ann (husband, John) Bitner of Arlington, Indiana.
She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, Jenifer L. (husband, Karl) Baker of Alexandria, Virginia, Allison E. (husband, David) Blind of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Susan (husband, Dave) Bullington of Indianapolis, Indiana, Marcus D. Gordon of Indianapolis, Indiana, Amanda K. (husband, Max) Tusim of Columbus, Ohio, Colleen L. (husband, Micah) Alles of Grand Rapids, Michigan, Stacy A. (husband, Matt) Miller of Rushville, Indiana, Philann Davis of Rushville, Indiana, Justin R. Bitner of Shelbyville, Indiana, James M. (wife, Jane) Bitner of Edinburg, Indiana, Jonathan L. Bitner of Rushville, Indiana; seventeen great-grandchildren, William, Thomas and Audrey Blind, Winston and Oliver Bullington, Teddy and Andrew Tusim, Mara Alles, Mattison and Morgan Miller, Brock and Blake Herbert and Lance Davis, Jazlynn and Jayson Bitner, Colton and Kaitlyn Bitner.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her loving husband of 61 years of marriage, Marion Morris Gordon and parents. She is also preceded in death by her son, Philip Lee Gordon on November 28, 1987 and sister Roberta Jackson.
Funeral services will be at 1 PM on Friday, June 2, 2017 in the Ebenezer Presbyterian Church of Lewisville, Indiana with Rev. Peter Zinn presiding. Burial will follow in Raleigh Zion Cemetery.
