Victor Kenneth Jordan, “Vic” age 56 of Malvern and Prattsville passed from this Earth on May 26th, 2017 in Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock after a lengthy illness. He was born Feb. 1st, 1961 to the late Bill and Blanche Jordan. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Lesa Helm Jordan, his two children, Hannah Hilton (Andrew) of Monticello, and his son Sam Jordan of Prattsville, baby granddaughters, Ava Jane and Andi Hilton, sisters Linda and Cindy. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church in Prattsville.

Vic grew up in Malvern where he played Little League baseball and Junior High football. He attended Gilead Baptist Church and spent many summers at church camp. But his true love was the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He was a member of Tanyard Hunting Club, and along with close friend Eldon Jones, helped start Elmo Hunting Club at Central. He was also a founding member of the Grant County Bass Club. Those who knew him well would describe him as someone who loved life, would help anyone and would say there was never a dull moment when he was around. Vic had a way with animals, he had numerous deer, rabbit, squirrel, and coon dogs. He loved to fish tournaments with friends, and was able to do almost every kind of hunting he wanted before he became ill at age 30.

Vic Loved his family dearly and never let his illness discourage him or get him down. He loved to watch his daughter, Hannah cheer for the Razorbacks and watch his son Sam play sports and be at deer camp with him when he killed his first deer.

Private family graveside service Tuesday, May 30 at Philadelphia Cemetery in Prattsville, followed by a memorial at 6:00pm for friends and loved ones at Harmony Baptist Church. Pastors’ Pat Greer and Billy Bosley will lead the service.

Close friend Steve Spillet said it best-“Before his sickness began to limit him at age 31, Victor had more fun in the first 31 years of his life than most people do in 100 years on this Earth. He really lived his life 1 day at a time, and was always full of Joy and Happiness. The kind that’s contagious and pure, you just can’t help but smile at
