Roland George Barbeau , age 82, a resident of Roy, N.M., passed away on Wednesday, March 11, 2009, at the Alta Vista Regional Hospital in Las Vegas, N.M.
He was born June 16, 1926, in Fall River, Mass., to the late George Barbeau and Adell Letender- Barbeau .
He was united in marriage in San Antonio, Texas, on Nov. 2, 1946, the late Leila May Barbeau .
He was a member of the American Legion. He loved his church, he treated everyone as if they were his family, enjoyed a good meal.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Roy, N.M.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Leila May Barbeau ; parents: George and Adell Barbeau ; grandson: Charles Wells.
