Charles Bernard McAllister, son of Patrick and Linnie McAllister, was a marine bomber pilot in WW II. He was lost on a mission over the Soloman Islands on September 6, 1942; his official date of death was declared as Sept. 7, 1943. Capt. McAllister is officially memorialized with an inscription on the Tablets of the Missing in the Manila American Cemetery and Memorial in the Philippines.
