Brittney Nicole Miller, 26 of Roanoke, Virginia passed away on May 26, 2017. Brittney was employed by Kroger since 2004 and was the store manager for the past two years. She graduated from Salem High School. She volunteered at the Roanoke Wildlife Rescue mainly raising baby opposums. At a young age she rode at Meadow Wood Stables.
Brittney was predeceased by her maternal grandmother, Lorraine Hall and her paternal grandparents, Marshall and Mildred Miller and cousins, Bryan Miller and Angela Jenkins.
She is survived by her mother, Tammy Miller; father Alvin Miller and stepmother Donna Miller, cousins Jason Jenkins and Kelly Miller, special friends including Kaitlyn Hatcher and Adam Hoover and many other uncles and aunts.
There will be a time of visitation Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Oakey’s North Chapel from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 2:00 PM from Oakey’s North Chapel with Pastor Barry Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will follow at Sherwood Memorial Park.
