Molly was born and raised in Cape Fair, MO. She taught school in a one room schoolhouse during the school year while beginning her Education Degree at Southwest Missouri State Teacher's College (MSU) during the summer terms. While raising a family, she later graduated with her degree in education. She taught fifth grade for over 20 years at Cherokee Elementary School and retired from the Springfield Public School System. She was an active member of South Haven Baptist Church for 56 years. She was presented with an award by both the Missouri Baptists and Lifeway Ministries for teaching a Ladies Bible class for 50 consecutive years at South Haven. Molly and Richard enjoyed playing canasta with a weekly card group for over 40 years and RV camping with the Ozark Wanderers. They also enjoyed many bus trips with fellow seniors through South Haven Baptist Church.
Burial at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery.
