Carl Trowbridge 1888-1969

Carl Harway Trowbridge, 80, died suddenly at his daughter's home, (Mrs. George Woolliscroft of Bagley), on January 2, 1969. Mr. Trowbridge had been making his home with his daughter for the past six years.
Mr. Trowbridge was born in Lanesboro, Minnesota on December 9, 1888 to parents Lewis and Rachel Trowbridge. He moved to Plentywood, Montana as a child, entered the Army during World War I and served until 1919. He lived in Minneapolis for some time after the service, then moved to Park Rapids where he lived for some years. He was married to Alberta Lund in Crosby, North Dakota in 1922.
Surviving are the following children: (Delores) Mrs. George Woolliscroft of Bagley, Merle of Plentywood, Montana; (Alvina) Mrs. John Rhrieheimer of Moblesville, Indiana; Roger of Auroria, Minnesota; James of Penleton, Oregon and (Lois) Mrs. Gene Tidwell of Primm Springs, Tennessee. One sister, Mrs. Mary E. Larson of Crosby, North Dakota and eleven grandchildren also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one sister and four brothers. Mr. Trowbridge was a member of the American Legion.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 7th at 3 p.m. in the Cease Funeral Home Chapel in Bagley. The Rev. M.C. Davig of Bagley officiated and burial in the Bagley City Cemetery under the direction of the Cease Funeral Home. Military honors by the Irvin Blix Post No. 16 of Bagley.
