Leslie Lawton Turner, Sr., 83, of Pink Hill passed away on Friday, May 26, 2017.

Leslie served his country in the United States Air Force; he was a member of Greenville Masonic Lodge #284, an honorary member of Beulaville Masonic Lodge #658, a Master Mason and Lecturer and a member of the York Rite.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Seth Davis Turner, Sr. and Florence Whaley Turner; brother, Raymond L. Turner, Sr., Seth Davis Turner, Jr.; and sister, Irma Hunt.

Leslie is survived by his wife, Ruth Rhodes Turner; sons, Leslie Lawton Turner, Jr. and wife, Leanne; John Davis Turner and wife, Tabatha; step- son, Eric Rhodes Quinn and wife Anne; step-daughter, Lisa Quinn Hobgood and husband, Chris; brother, Calvin C. Turner, Sr., sister, Virginia Perry; grandchildren, Meredith, Elizabeth and Morgan Turner, Sam and Brian Quinn and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Pink Hill Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Pink Hill Funeral Home followed by burial at Oak Ridge Memorial Park in Pink Hill.
