Adeline LaFontaine, 75, of Bagley, died on January 24, at the Greensview Health care Center in Bagley.
She was born November 7, 1927 at Emerado, North Dakota the daughter of Henry and Christine Holweger. She attended school in Emerado. She married Donald LaFontaine on September 3, 1950 at Emerado. They farmed there for 16 years and moved to Bagley in the fall of 1970, and on the family farm south of Bagley, in 1971. She enjoyed flowers and gardening. She loved the Country Music Channel and enjoyed going to music shows around the area. The Highlight of her life was traveling to Branson a few times.
She is survived by her husband Donald LaFontaine; her children, Margie (Kelly) Bellefy, LeRoy LaFontaine, Susan (Steve) West, Donna Ehlers, all of Bagley, Sharon (Alan) Hedlund of McIntosh, Minnesota, Marvin (Ann) LaFontaine of Grand Forks, North Dakota, Sally Amundson of Erskine, Minnesota; a sister, Olga Lange of Wisconsin; 34 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son Rodney LaFontaine; two brothers; three sisters; and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 28, at the Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel in Bagley. Interment was held at the Bagley City Cemetery.
