Funeral service for Antonio “Tony” Cardenas, 75, of Lubbock will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Bible Baptist Church in Slaton with Pastor Fred Smith officiating. Burial will be at Southland Cemetery in Southland, TX. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, immediate family only, and from 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm for friends and family, and Monday from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Celebration Christian Center in Slaton.
He died Friday, May 26, 2017 at his home in Lubbock, TX. He was born June 16, 1941 in Nixon, TX. He married Rosa Cardenas on Jan 10, 1991 in Crosbyton, TX. He worked for the BNSF railroad for many years.
