Susan J. Rowe, 56, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly on the loving holiday, Feb. 14, 2007, in her residence.
She was a 1968 graduate of Sandusky High School.She had worked at Barr Rubber Company and Universal Clay Products many years ago. She was a nurse"s aide for 25 years at a number of nursing homes. She also worked for Goodwill Industries for five years after she enrolled in nursing school for her master's in nursing. Because of her health, she had to give that up after a year. She became a fulltime grandmother and spent her time making some more of her great, warm and wonderful afghans, which she loved to make for everyone so they could be wrapped with warmth and love. She also enjoyed her two cats, Bubba and Salem. Susan loved to cook and feed others, and will be missed.
She is survived by her loving daughter, April M. (Kenneth M. Jude) Rowe-Jude of Sandusky; two grandsons, (loved and adored) Jayden M. Rowe and Jaythen M. Jude-Rowe; step-son, Jordan J. Jude; son, Ryan A. Rowe of Sandusky, who is a student at Firelands College, branch of Bowling Green State University, who will make a great doctor someday; his girl friend, Montia Arrington; and sister, Maryanne L. Rowe-Slicker of Jacksonville, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Verna B. (Roesch) and Leo C. Rowe; aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be no funeral services. The family invites you to her residence for refreshments at 5 p.m. Saturday, 618 W. Monroe St., Sandusky, to enjoy the life and times of Susan Rowe.
