Mrs. Celeste Kincaid, wife of George B. Kincaid, died at her home near Knoxville last Friday evening, March 6th, after an illness of long duration from consumption. Mr. Kincaid and his family were residents of Richmond until a few months ago, when Mrs. Kincaid's condition became so serious that the family moved to Knoxville that she might receive the care and attention of her relatives and her last days be made as comfortable as it was possible for human hands to do.
The deceased was a daughter of the late William Vanbebber, was a native of Ray county and her entire life had been spent here. She was a member of the Baptist church and a woman held in high regard by a large circle of friends and acquaintances, whose sympathy goes out to the husband and two daughters who survive her.
The funeral was held last Saturday, conducted by Rev. Joseph Helms, and interment was made in the Kincaid cemetery.
