Kim Y. Arnold, 61, of Urbana, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 25, 2017. She was born on July 5, 1955, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of Merrill R. and Violet J. (Parr) Maxwell. Along with her mother, Kim is survived by her beloved husband, William Arnold; children, Michelle Leatherman and Robert (Erika) Ridge III; step-children, Brian (Jenna) Arnold, Terri (Jimmy) Brown, Billy Arnold and James (Nina) Arnold; 15 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sister, Cheryl Stacy; special friend, Andy Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her father. Kim was a former assistant manager at Wendy’s and also taught hunting and trapping classes for the State of Ohio. She loved anything outdoors including fishing, golf cart riding, gardening, hunting, trapping and taking care of her flowers. Kim was a mother to many neighborhood children and loved nothing more than spending time with her family and friends. She enjoyed baking, cooking and canning and sharing her tasty creations with anyone she could. She was a die-hard Ohio State Buckeye fan whose smile and orneriness could light up a room. Viewing will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 11a.m. – 1p.m. at WALTER & LEWIS FUNERAL HOME with service beginning at 1p.m. with Pastor Kevin Moehn officiating. Burial will follow at Mt.
