Mrs. Nellie Cutts Bailey of Colquitt died Monday, May 22, 2017, at Miller County Hospital. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 25, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Sheffield Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bobby Whitaker and Rev. Talmadge Worsley officiating. Interment will follow in Mother's Home Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, May 24, 2017, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Colquitt Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bailey was a member of Mother's Home Free Will Baptist Church and was retired from First State National Bank.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary Nell Bailey (Bill) Cox, Jr.; three sons, Charlie Smiley Bailey, Jr., Tommy (Belinda) Bailey, and Gene (Angela) Bailey; 11 grandchildren, Les Rentz, Patti Rentz Franklin, Henry Bailey, Michele Bailey Foreman, Shane Bailey, Missy Bailey Ammons, Alisa Holt McGhee, Josh Bailey, Jason Bailey, Shawna Bailey Thompson, and Shaun Bailey; 18 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Winifred Bailey. Mrs. Bailey was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie S. "Buddy" Bailey, Sr.; her parents, Jerry and Mary Pearle Worsham Cutts; and two brothers, Cecil Cutts and Carl Cutts.
