Mildred McLeod Harrington, age 89 of Broadway, died Friday (10/16/2015) at Harnett Woods Nursing and Rehab in Dunn. She was born on September 2, 1926, daughter of the late Edward Walker McLeod and Alyce Kelly McLeod. She was preceded in death by her parents, and Brothers Ed McLeod and Donald Harrington. She was a member of the Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be conducted at 2pm Monday at the Mount Pisgah Presbyterian Church with Rev. Doug Houston officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Surviving is her husband of 66 years, Bill Harrington of the home; Sons Billy Harrington and wife Janice of Broadway, NC, Barry Harrington and wife Pam of Garner, NC and Jimmy Harrington and wife Jackie of Broadway, NC; Brother T. Bragg McLeod and wife Betsy of Charlotte, NC; Grandchildren William D. Harrington IV. and Austin Johnson and husband Travis; Great grandchildren Karli Johnson and Levi Johnson. God-daughter Kelli Thomas of St. Johns, VI and special friend Bonnie Gaster. The family will receive friends from 1-2pm Monday, one hour prior to the funeral service in the Mt.
